WorkSTEPS Functional Employment Testing is a sophisticated diagnostic and rehabilitative tool for facilitating employees’ return to work after an injury and for determining whether workers are physically suited to the demands of their jobs. Through a series of comprehensive tests and assessments, including return-to-work and functional capacity evaluations and, in conjunction with the national WorkSTEPS database, the program identifies individuals who have musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and cumulative trauma disorders; assists employers in matching employees to suitable job positions; qualifies genuine injuries—as well as disqualifies invalid injuries; and accelerates workers’ rehabilitation. |
